What if my game isn't loading?
Try restarting your device. For help with how to do so, please see this Apple Support Guide.
How do I save?
The Big Journey automatically saves your progress as you unlock each level. Please be aware that progress is saved on your device. The Big Journey does not offer cloud saving.
How do I toggle the controls between the tilt to move and the D-Pad overlay?
The following are the basics for swapping between tilt motion and the D-Pad overlay.
- From the level or chapter select screen (level select shown here) tap the settings icon in the bottom left
- Choose controls
- Select the control scheme you wish to use. (Tilt controls selected by default)

I was playing on my iPad and my progress isn’t there when I tried to play from my iPhone. What happened?
Progress in The Big Journey is tied to the device you play it on. There is no cloud save functionality. If you download it to a different device, you will have to start from the beginning.
The game shut down and I lost my progress. What happened?
If your device powers off due to low battery, or if the game is closed in mid-battle, or the app crashes, your progress hasn’t been saved automatically as the progress was within the RAM that was cleared before the game autosaved. These are a few of the reasons why you might find this problem happening.
